Community Development Block Grant funds are available to municipalities through the NH Community Development Finance Authority. Annually, up to $500,000 is available for economic development projects, up to $500,000 for public facility projects, up to $500,000 for housing projects, and up to $350,000 for emergency activities. Up to $100,000 is available for planning activities (per activity). All projects must directly benefit low and moderate income persons.
The first hearing is to extend the Colebrook CDBG Homeowners Water, Sewer and Electrical Infrastructure Project end date to December 31, 2027.
The Colebrook CDBG Homeowners Water, Sewer, and Electrical Infrastructure Project grant currently draws to a close on December 31, 2026. We are asking for a year long extension. The grant requires that water, sewer, and electrical and drainage be improved at the project site on 7 fourth street, Colebrook NH. This will benefit at least 40 individuals within the low to middle incomes (LMI), and the existing 30 units with 27 of them being located in the Cooperative and 3 additional homes not apart of the Coop.
